Our care of women’s health is based on regular gynecological exams. During your annual well woman visit, or check up, Dr. Jennifer Almonte will evaluate your reproductive and general health by asking questions, conducting tests, and a physical exam. This includes performing a cervical cancer screening – known as a pap smear – as well as a breast exam. Your well woman visit might also include tests for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) or other health conditions.
Guiding you through every stage of life
To assure that vaginal infections and cervical abnormalities are detected and diagnosed, all women over the age of 21, and those who are sexually active, regardless of age, should visit a gynecologist annually.
